JOB SUMMARY
As an integral part of a regional and global team, the Recruiter shall be a seasoned recruiting professional capable of managing full cycle recruiting efforts for our Middle East markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES
In conjunction with business functions and HRBP teams, design, implement, and execute effective Talent Acquisition strategies in order to attract and hire appropriate talent to Visa, in line with business plans
Develop plans to attract required experience and skill sets that will ensure top talent is available to support Visa's objectives utilizing multiple channels to source and track potential candidates
Support hiring managers throughout recruiting process, including identifying interview evaluation criteria and competencies; establishing a consistent and valid candidate assessment process.
Interface with hiring managers and candidates to negotiate and exchange information with all levels of management.
Manage candidate process and be an advocate to ensure internal and external equity.
In conjunction with line management and HR team, manage offer process, reference checks, and salary recommendations.
Maintain accurate reporting on activity levels; escalate issues in a timely and appropriate manner

Prior experience with Recruitment Information Systems (ideally Taleo)
Experience in helping drive new employment policies and procedures throughout the organization
Ideally have prior experience providing advice to a business function relative to workforce planning topics such as salary equity, internal movement, and staffing level planning

RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Competencies
Oversee a value added, customer focused sourcing organization in the CEMEA geography to meet the business objectives in compliance with the Global Sourcing Policy and Procedures;
Lead and direct the negotiation and drafting of contracts and amendments and applicable changes as required.
Manage RFX for critical business projects by leading cross functional teams in supplier selection, contract negotiations involving Legal and other departments as appropriate.
Work closely with the business in developing specifications and sourcing strategies for CEMEA procurements.
Work closely with and be familiar with the requirements of the other Visa stakeholders and participate in the implementation of their requirements as necessary to manage risks while achieving the business objectives in a cost effective manner.
Identify future procurement by analyzing opportunities and conducting assessments for select spend categories to source.
Ensure that Visa enhances its buying power based on activities across all areas and ensuring improvement opportunities at all times.
Conduct market, benchmark and spend analysis for select categories of spend.
Oversees efforts to minimize financial exposure and risk for Visa; sets aggressive costs savings and spend reduction goals
Implements complex sourcing initiatives; develops category and supplier cost models
Strong negotiation skills, ability to influence internal and external business partners to achieve departmental goals

Business Leader, Acceptance - GCC / Middle East at Visa


Job Description

PURPOSE
The role will be responsible for developing and executing an acceptance development plan and leading the local acceptance team in the GCC & Middle Eastern markets.

The role will influence Visa's business via:
§ Positioning Visa as the industry leader and thought leader amongst clients, partners and peers.
§ Driving the increase of Merchant Sales Volume (MSV) and revenues via additional acceptance locations, increased Visa usage, and additional processing volume via VisaNet.
§ Working closely with country managers to understand acceptance business needs and jointly develop acceptance business plans.
§ Leading the execution of acceptance business plans.

PURPOSE
Manage all aspects of the relationship between Visa and designated clients with a focus on business growth and client satisfaction. Manage the setting, direction and implementation of country & business strategies, objectives and plans within designated clients in order to achieve business targets through growing the existing business and through identifying new business opportunities including the introduction and implementation of new products and services

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Planning
Contribute to the development of the areas business development strategy.
Ensure the development of individual designated clients' operational plans, with corresponding tactics and actions to achieve defined goals.
Ensure that the necessary Marketing plans are in place

Business Development and Relationship Management
Establish, develop and manage the relationship between Visa and designated clients', industry representatives in-country such as Central Banks, Governments, Bankers Association and Media.
Establish, develop and manage relationships in-country with Vendors, Processors and Domestic Switches.
Responsible for country revenue.
Focus on achieving business targets through growing existing business and developing new business opportunities
Develop, maintain and cultivate close relationships with decision-makers and senior management of designated clients, partner companies, Central banks and national banking associations.
Client consulting relating to operations, IT, marketing and compliance.

Public Relations
Represent Visa by attending and speaking at conferences and business meetings and undertake media/public relations activities in the area, to shape perceptions of the corporation.
Assist with the relationships with the central banks, key technology partners and other organisations involved in payment services. Utilise these relationships to influence and change attitudes and decisions of clients' and to achieve Visa's goals in the region.

Strong experience in the Banking/Financial Services sector; card payment experience essential.
International electronic payment scheme experience.
Sales experience and proven negotiation skills
Capability to liaise, present to and work with senior level international bankers.
Ability to manage varied indirect reporting relationships at all levels of the Visa and member organisation.
Demonstrated organizational skills
Strong self-management skills including demonstrable drive and energy
Multicultural sensitivity and interpersonal relationship management, including the ability to work effectively within CEMEA, between regions and with Worldwide Services staff
Candidate must have the ability to travel frequently
Fluency in English, both written and spoken; Arabic preferred
