Job Description
Al Futtaim Motors is looking to recruit a General Manager - Aftersales, based in Dubai. The main purpose of this role will be to ensure the sustainable growth of Net Sales and Profit through managing the Divisional Managers for Al Futtaim Motors Aftersales, Warranty, New Service Division and Bodyshop. Implementing and sustaining a Customer focused Culture in all Divisions. Implementation and Adherence to Distributor guidelines and fundamentals through guiding and monitoring of the above Divisions.
Main Responsibilities will include:
Financial Performance - Ensure the accurate tracking and Monitoring of all Net Sales, Direct and Indirect Manpower Operating Expenses, Capital Expenditure and overdue control at a National Level. Ensure all Divisional Manager set and active meaningful budgets in line with the Companies needs. Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of all financials and potential business changes to the Managing Director on an ongoing basis.
Human Resource Development - Ensure the Number of Productive and non Productive Personnel are in line with the Budget and forecasted Sales. Ensure the Adherence of all Human Resource Policies and Procedures in terms of Performance Management, Disciplinary action, Promotions and Training. Ensure all Direct Reports have Clearly defined Objectives based on their Job Description. Ensure All Divisional Managers have at least Bi Annual Reviews.
Distributor Fundamentals - Ensure All Divisional Managers Support all Distributor and Principles recommended and approved Programs. Follow Corporate Guidelines within the operations. Ensure a safe, clean and healthy working environment for all employees. Ensure Complete Synergy between all Departments and Divisions. Ensure all Divisions promote the ideals as set out in the AFM Vision, Mission and Values Statement Conduct random field evaluation visits.
Capacity Planning - Ensure Each Division operates a future growth Plan including Operation Capacity and Manpower requirement. Work with other Departments on strategic forecasting. Have a leading hand in new Branch and Business Development. Look at additional Business opportunities to grow the profitability of AFG
Desired Skills & Experience
Applicants should possess the following: • Degree in Business or equivalent • 5 years' similar experience in Auto Industry as Manager in Aftersales, with specific experience in Warranty and Body Shop or equivalent.
