Business Planning and Budgeting
• Participate in the annual business planning and provide inputs to the CEO and the rest of the Top management team
• Create the overall product and merchandizing strategy (private vs international brands) for the Concept
• Analyze Concept strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats vis a vis competition and assess market opportunity
• Oversee the category/brand management with the objective of maximizing sales and profits
• Plan and approve the merchandising budget for the category/brand
• Liaise with the process excellence team to spearhead continual improvement in Buying & Merchandising processes
Category/Brand Management
• Develop comprehensive category/brand business plans that are consistent with the company's overall goals and strategies for assigned categories/brands
• Ensure growth in the sales and gross margins for all categories/brands by driving focus on individual categories/brands
• Plan and approve the buying budget for the category/brand
• Oversee overall category/brand plans in the areas of pricing, promotion, assortment and allocation for each category/brand
• Monitor and review the performance of category/brand business plans by using appropriate scorecard for measuring category/brand performance
• Ensure collaboration between category/brand managers to leverage efficiencies in procurement, transportation, warehousing and store operations
• Maintain relationships with key vendors who are critical for the long term success of the business
Merchandise Planning
• Supervise the merchandise planning process and all other parameters used for merchandise analytics
• Oversee planning of merchandise requirements by setting sourcing triggers based on actual sales, sales forecasts, company order parameters, inventory checks, forth coming events, replenishment needs etc
• Discuss, decide and freeze the merchandise plans(pricing, promotion and assortment) and ensure effective in season management
• Review the merchandise plans on a periodic basis to ensure profit is maximized and maintained to reach target levels
Supplier Management
- Ensure that there are adequate measures for cost savings through negotiations with Suppliers
- Ensure that there are Systems and Processes for the achievement of reconciliation with the Suppliers;
- Guarantee on-time delivery of merchandise by the supplier without delay
- Maintain vendor relationship for stabilization of assigned product categories as per category management plan
Product Design
• Ensure all design and development activities are carried out within budget and are related to market demands, company image and business strategy
• Supervise design and development plan with specifications on product features, functions, packaging and resource requirement across categories
Quality Control
• Supervise formulation of the quality control process steps and manual ( lab dips, fabric, trim checks)
• Ensure the merchandise procured and received meets the quality standards set by Landmark
People Management
• Develop talent within the team by providing consistent direction and support to achieve stretch targets and take leadership positions
• Retain and engage the talent employed and build a collaborative and high performance team
• Enhance team productivity through skills development through coaching and training
• Ensure objective periodic administration of the performance appraisal process followed by monitoring of feedback implementation for the team

Principal responsibility
The Senior UX Designer will lead the redesign of all outdated concept websites to make them world-class, user-friendly web products that are simple, straightforward, intuitive, web 2.0, and standards compliant.
Key areas of responsibility
• Guide stakeholders through the Information Architecture (IA) process to define goals and requirements and ensure that each project has a clear, well-defined IA
• Lead the design journey through process flows, wireframes, low and high-fidelity prototypes of each project and iterate as required for higher UI quality
• Facilitate the project as required to ensure successful completion
• Determine and communicate project costs, timelines, manpower and budgetary requirements
