Account Manager, Senior MasterCard - Dubai


Job Description

Scope of Role – summary of the role and deliverables•

Manage the growth, profitability & loyalty of the key MasterCard Multinational Account businesses with Barclays and Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) within the high growth Middle East Africa high- growth markets, comprising the following countries: UAE, , Saudi Arabia, , Jordan, Egypt, Oman, Qatar, Pakistan, Bahrain, Lebanon, Nigeria, and Kenya.
• Manage and grow the portfolios in consumer credit, commercial credit, prepaid, rewards and debit in the Middle East Africa markets.
• Achieving targeted annual revenue growth expectations across all these business lines while ensuring an effective collaborative and value driven relationship
• Ensuring that all the potentially disparate interactions these Multinational Accounts require with MasterCard are integrated with a brand wide strategy and the full benefits MasterCard brings are more fully understood.Key Accountabilities and Priorities• Successfully manage the Middle East Africa team financial performance, ensuring that all targets and other performance metrics are met.
• Act as the primary point of contact between MasterCard and its key Multinational Accounts Barclays and SCB, ensuring strategic alignment, collaborative interaction, CRM optimization and maximum mutual success in achieving goals and objectives.
• Develop the senior level relationships at all key business units within the customers establishing a regular and deepening on-going dialogue
• Develop long term growth strategies to develop existing revenue sources and create new business lines and optimize mutual profitability with each category
• Monitor and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction with MasterCard's account team, innovation, information sharing, strategy, products and services
• Liaise closely with the relevant MasterCard Account Teams representing the Issuing Bank partner (where relevant) to manage the tri-partite nature of the engagement with MCW
• Develop and manage relationship between internal MasterCard partners including marketing, product, advisors, commerce development, legal, compliance, fraud etc. in order to ensure cross-functional alignment and maximum support for the customer.
• Ensure that all legal, regulatory, MIS and other administrative responsibilities are met by the team.
• Successfully manage and develop the team members both in terms of meeting their core functional goals and objectives and also in developing greater skills and abilities that will enable them to expand their roles within

MasterCardExperience/Knowledge•
Superior interpersonal and communications skills
• Demonstrated success in business development roles and environments
• Demonstrated success in customer/sales roles, with specific experience in negotiations/contract management
• Strong analytical and diagnostic capabilities
• Demonstrated success in strategic/conceptual thinking
• Demonstrated experience in developing emerging market business
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely, in a highly matrixed environmentPersonal Education and

Experience•
10 to 15 years of credit card and/or financial services experience
• 7 to 10 years of progressively complex sales and strategic account management experience preferably within the financial services and/or co brand partnership sector
• 7-10 years of supervisory or managerial experience
• Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred)
• Willingness and ability to travel 60% time.
• Bi-lingual skills preferred
