The Total Rewards team at Microsoft is responsible for advising, consulting, designing and implementing a variety of compensation and benefit programs that support Microsoft’s People Priorities in over 100 countries across the globe. We are seeking a seasoned Compensation and Benefits leader who will be responsible for managing a global team of senior compensation and benefits professionals.

Your main client will be the Global Sales, Marketing and Operations Human Resources Leader and his/her direct reports. This role has a global remit, and responsibilities include all Microsoft Professions (Sales, Marketing, Engineering, etc.) including our Sales Subsidiaries as well as Global Development Centers. Your team will be responsible for consulting with the business and HR on the compensation and benefits programs outside of the US, interpreting competitive market analysis and the development of recommendations to ensure Microsoft’s compensation and benefits programs are set to deliver against established objectives.

Key elements of the role are:
• Advise and support the International Leader of Human Resources for Microsoft on Compensation and Benefit Issues
• Manage a team of direct and indirect reports, covering the 13 Microsoft Geographic Areas (Latin America, CEE, Western Europe, Middle East & Africa, APAC, Japan, Germany, UK, India, Greater China, France, the United States and Canada)
• Play a critical role in driving the Annual Rhythm of the Business (ROB) for Total Rewards for the GSMO Areas. Examples include aspects of Performance and Development process, competitive market analysis, and special projects.
• Support Microsoft’s Annual salary and benefit planning internationally, making sure that data and insights are at the center of everything that we do
• Effectively collaborate with Worldwide Incentive Compensation Teams on the design and communication of Sales Incentives effectively to the field organization
• Partner with Global Benefits and Local HR to ensure Benefit program competitiveness, including design and governance

Qualifications:
• 10 or more years of compensation and benefits experience in a global corporation
• Sales Compensation experience preferred
• High Tech industry experience preferred
• Excellent collaboration, organization, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
