Job Description

Foodjob Danmark is looking for two experienced Category Purchasing Specialist's to work for a World leading and progressive retailer based in Kuwait. The roles are very challenging and come with full tax-free salary/packages along with comprehensive ex-pat benefits including accommodation.
Your remit will include sourcing and developing key suppliers globally who will bring innovation and cost - value to your category. This will entail close liaison with a number of internal stakeholders including the Technical, Product Development and Supply Chain teams, to ensure relevant technical specifications and delivery requirements are met.

A track record of adding value to the bottom line though cost saving initiatives is also sought.
Desired Skills & Experience

The right candidate is an experienced buyer from the food industry of either dairy or poultry products, and you have a comprehensive insight and 'hands on' experience into all aspects of your category.

You will be given the chance to work closely together with some of the most expanding brands in the food business. The right candidate needs to demonstrate a good understanding of consumer needs too, by keeping up to date with market trends and be able to react to changes in demand as this is a key element of these roles.
