Job Description

Our client, a prestigious telecoms organization is looking for a Director of Legal and Regulatory to join its dynamic team in Bahrain.

Responsibilities:
Track the overall departmental performance against specified KPIs and report to the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer.
Contribute to the development of the Legal & Regulatory Department strategy and participate in its implementation.
Plan, establish and maintain relationships with external entities to ensure an effective regulatory environment for the business.
Manage the Legal & Regulatory Department budget by allocating financial resources and operating within specified guidelines.
Define relationship and communication strategy with other branches and oversee compliance of Bahrain’s activities to regulations in the other GCC branches.
Desired Skills & Experience

Master’s degree from a recognised university or equivalent.
At least 8-10 years of legal and regulatory experience at senior level positions within the telecommunications industry in the GCC.
Fluency in English.
