Head of E-Channels & Islamic Operation Gulf International Bank - Al Khobar

Job Description Knowledge & understanding of essential job specific areas • Ensure the implementation of Standard Operating Procedure in Operation • Identify GAPS and Introduce controls to reduce Operational Risk • Monitor the processes and their results for continuous improvement • Participate in Process re-engineering activities • Ensure the availability of E-Channels and Islamic Operation functions in DR • Must have knowledge of sharia & regulatory rules and ensure its compliance • Support new products and transform the business requirements to operation procedure • Evaluate current products and take initiative to improve the quality and efficiency of the process • Design E-Channels and Islamic Operation Policy & Procedure • Prepare monthly reports for management and improve the Operations rating • Support the Implementation of bank’s strategy • Prepare and evaluate staff Key performance Indicators and midyear reviews • Arrange inter department training for staff and initiate career growth opportunities Desired Skills & Experience Skills • Team Member • Leadership skills • Strong communication skills • Ability to negotiate • Self-driven • Results-oriented with a positive outlook • Clear focus on high quality and business satisfaction • A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance • Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with senior Management • Reliable, tolerant, and determined • Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view • Management Ability Certifications & Accreditations • Islamic banking diploma • Courses of e-channels or branchless banking Technical and Behavioural skills • Must be adept in use of MS Office 2000 or later, particularly Excel and Word, and ideally Access or similar database to basic level, Internet and email. • Knowledge of e-channels and functional interface with Core banking system. • Hands on to the best of breed applications for Islamic operation functions. • Knowledge of Islamic products structure with accounting entries. Education Bachelor degree or MBA
