Job Profile (Short Job Description)
The Sr. Consultant in Enterprise Services delivers technical solutions to customers allowing them to maximize their investment in Microsoft technology. Building upon solid IT project experience relative to their level, these consultants will be also involved in risk management for the practice as well as the entire IT lifecycle but is most critical during design phases, with broad focus around enterprise, industry, platform and solutions and will work with Microsoft's partners to assist customers in: - The delivery of high quality engagements around Microsoft's solution areas, technologies and products in diverse client environments. - Stabilizing developed solutions using Microsoft methodologies in complex customer environments. - The design and development of integrated solutions using the latest Microsoft products and technologies. - Understanding the relevant application development, infrastructure and operations implications of the developed solution. - Driving successful solution deployments by ensuring proper business value and customer/partner satisfaction - Providing customer guidance during product and services sales cycle - Driving operational excellence and innovation With pre-sales, discovery experience is a plus.

Business: Plan- Contributes to team in preparing a functional specification and the design process. 20%
Business: Build- Builds the technical solution, including the code, deployment scripts, and so on. 25%
Business: Stabilize- Testing is conducted on a solution whose features are "code complete" Testing during this track emphasizes usage and operation under realistic environmental conditions. Focus on resolving issues and preparing the solution for release. 10%
Business: Deploy - Drives activities to deploy the solution that provide the expected business value to the customer, and effectively brining the project to its goal. 20%
Business: Strategic Planning and Oversight - Uses experience to drive deep customer relationship and evolve a long-term customer strategy/partnership with Microsoft 10%
Business: Envision - Quantifies the needs of the business, delivers an appropriate strategy, champions required methodology, captures/reuses IP 15%
