Responsible for executing traditional communications campaigns in Region, leveraging advertising, promotions, etc. Works with agencies to plan and execute paid external communication efforts. Modifies and adapts centrally developed campaigns to increase their effectiveness in the Region for all brands. Supports hotels in executing and utilizing advertising and marketing collateral. Coordinates activities with the e-distribution team to ensure maximum results.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Vice President, Sales & Marketing, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
Works with Vice President of Sales & Marketing to develop Marketing Communication plans for the FRHI brands within their Region
Coordinate Regional initiatives funded by the Regional Marketing Budget
Ensure alignment on key initiatives with regional network of hotels
Initiate and execute initiatives cofounded with the hotels on an opt-in model basis
Develops and executes media plans and tailored campaigns
Uses corporate standards for collateral and develops regionally appropriate executions for collateral, in-room and property sales materials, etc.
Aligns marketing communication tools to deliver reservations and revenue efficiently and effectively
Tailors centrally developed Brand materials to needs of their Region
Qualifications
Previous experience is an asset
Minimum of five+ years of travel industry marketing and advertising experience
Professional English written/verbal communications and interpersonal skills required
Knowledge of strategic and tactical planning for marketing and advertising, suppliers and communications methods and media
Familiarity with all lodging business segments and sources
Experience/knowledge of advertising agency management and compensation
Four year degree from an accredited university in Business, Hospitality, Advertising or a related field
Must be fluent in written and spoken Arabic
Must be able to travel to Makkah, KSA
