Job Description

-Provide overview, leadership and direction to Brand Managers and support functions for all aspects of Business Planning, brand management and merchandising.
-Be accountable for merchandising planning, OTB, forward planning, stock management and maximizing the sales and profit contribution.
-Ensure margin targets are achieved through timely management of OTB (Open To Buy), stock allocation and replenishment, terminal stock management and retail price architecture.
-Champion the brand effectively by ensuring right stock is in the right place at the right time, which leads to maximization of sales and profit margins and achievement of agreed targets.
-Be responsible for implementation and review of agreed promotional activities.
-Determine buying and promotional strategy.
-Develop and agree strategies for competitive market share and retailing initiatives. Directly impact on product planning / selection and on trading through team direction, pricing and margin strategy, and partner negotiation terms and conditions.
-Coach, develop and mentor a team of Senior Merchandisers Coach, support and guide brand and Merchandising Managers according to their relative experience on Employee matters, host brand relations and coordination with other functional areas of the Business
Skills

-Over 5 years in a senior role ideally PLC or successful private company
-Retail merchandising experience
-IT Systems Awareness
-Numerical skills
-Understand Product Value = Price/value/equation
-Good interpersonal/ Networking skills
