To ensure profitable and sustainable growth with key franchise partners within the MENA region while respecting (reebok and adidas) brand image in key categories and defined group targets. The job holder is responsible for expansion and maximizing the profitability of the Franchise business by ensuring that strategy and principles are aligned with the Emerging Market Direct to Consumer Strategy as well as the Global Sales Service Excellence Strategy and the same is delivered through concrete goals and work packages.

To group franchisee customers and set objectives, strategies and tactics including translation into action and business growth plans.
To allocate resources per group and ensure effective and efficient, tracking specification, negotiation and implementation of action plans covering price adjustments, terms and conditions (no specification). Negotiate and update contracts where necessary.
To plan the range (Merchandise Assortment Plan) with Marketing and ensure pre- and re-order buying account marketing activities in coordination with the Category Merchandising teams.
Monitor sales and achieve targets whilst analyzing sales data to assess new commercial opportunities for driving growth for partner and brand.
Identify and research potential markets and advise the management of new opportunities and similarly identify and propose new partners
Responsible for central communication and direction to franchise partners to ensure all retail principles, store layouts, the recruitment/training of team members and the overall brand proposition meet the brand standards.
Establish strategic objectives for each sub-market/region using the levers of margin, price and brand and setting and achieving demanding sales, service and profit targets.
To ensure reliable and cost efficient supply of merchandise and responsiveness to requests and complaints of the Customers.
To develop, nurture and maintain relationships with key decision makers amongst partners and influence own senior management team ensuring maximum leverage for brand and products.
Drive the implementation and execution of the global toolkit to maintain the brand standards in stores.
Provide consultancy across all retail functions (where necessary) to facilitate franchise partners’ needs.
Partner and work closely with trade marketing team to develop an integrated and consistent retail marketing & promotional calendar for the franchise channel.
Recruit, develop, motivate and lead team of franchise managers to manage different partners & territories.
Consistently screen the retail market & industry for best practice and other news as well as benchmark competitors to the adidas-Group Retail and Franchise environment.
Build and implement a governance to manage all direct reports as an integrated team by setting team objectives, targets and guidelines. Promote a high performance culture by setting clear expectations and individual goals
Develop the functional and social skills of direct reports on and off the job.
To monitor and report on customers and competitors activities and propose/initiate/take actions.
To provide realistic plans and forecasts on customer performance.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
Fluent in English whilst Arabic/French will be an advantage
Advanced Communication skills with ability to make powerful presentations.
High level of business acumen and financial understanding required.
Strong international franchise management experience
Strong analytical skills and product knowledge
Strong personality with forward thinking and entrepreneurial approach.
Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications
University degree in business with marketing and sales focus.
8 years sales / franchise operations experience ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG.
5 years in a leadership role
