Director Finance Good Harbor Security Risk Management Abu Dhabi

Job Description:
Good Harbor is seeking a highly motivated individual with a background and proven experience in accounting and financial management to lead Good Harbor's Abu Dhabi based finance department. The individual will plan, direct, and coordinate financial management activities of the organization to maximize the company’s financial returns.

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Qualifications

· BA/BSc in Finance or Accounting, MBA desired

· 7-10 years related experience

· Experience working in international setting required; experience working in the Middle East desired

· Ability to work independently with minimal guidance as well as within a team of clients and consultants in a fast-paced environment at a client site

· Ability to thrive in a dynamic working environment on multiple projects across functional areas

· Possess strong leadership, excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communications (both written and oral) skills

· Experience in mergers and acquisitions, including post-transaction execution, a plus

· Ability to develop, read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, regulations, and legal documents

· Knowledge of QuickBooks desired

Responsibilities

· Invitation to Tenders and tender evaluation

· Contract Negotiations and Awards

· Preparation, reporting and analysis of financial statements for the Company management

· Preparation, reporting, and analysis of forward-looking projections (Inc. Cash Flow, Profit & Loss, etc.)

· Preparation and management of organization, division and project budgets

· Responsibility for development, implementation and maintenance of appropriate financial controls and processes

· Management of general ledger maintenance, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and annual audit

· Supervise the processing of invoices, review work for accuracy and compliance with budgets and other controls

· Financial Reporting: a) Coordinate the monthly financial close process; b) Assure completeness of reconciliations to general ledger account balances; c) Prepare monthly financial statements; d) Prepare other managerial reports as requested to support program and revenue generating activities

· Manage Banking Relations

· Supervise payroll process; prepare monthly payroll, transmission to payroll service provider, and liaison with payroll service provider

· Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate Finance department staff

· Other duties as required or necessary
