The Director, Innovation Experience, for the Dubai Sandbox will oversee the physical client briefing facility in the Dubai office. The role will include team development, implementation of a repeatable engagement process/approach, and leadership of a client and employee engagement activities related to the physical center. The Sandbox is a showcase for the company’s innovation initiatives, as well as a place to showcase and experience our partners’ or others emerging payment technologies.
Responsibilities
The Director, Experience, will set the strategy, content and experience of the Dubai Sandbox to keep it as an industry-leading product and technology showcase. Their responsibilities will include:
Creating and delivering an end-to-end visitor experience, including: invitations, travel & logistics support, the on-site agenda and program (content, subject matter, meals/entertainment, and information capture).
Designing and executing up to 100 executive sessions per year, plus additional half-day sessions, tours, guest speakers, employee events, and social events.
Engaging with One Market and other regional Sandboxes to develop a consistent experience and share content and best practices.
Overseeing operational staff to maintain the Sandbox schedule and ensure efficient operation and upkeep of the Sandbox
Qualifications
5+ years of direct management of a Briefing Center and prior experience of increasing responsibility within a Briefing Center, ideally in a technology related field.
Strong experience creating end to end visitor experience and ability to oversee an agenda which bridges traditional hosting and business event activities (complex content)
An entrepreneurial bent, preferably with experience growing a Briefing Center or expanding it into new geographies.
Experience interacting with senior management to set the strategy for a briefing center.
Ability to work well within a heavily matrixed organization, multi-national experience a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both written as well as verbal, and can influence without direct authority.
Must have the business savvy, presence and poise to interact at the C-level
