Job description
The Role:
Design and implement a solid commercial strategy to develop and grow the Dean and Deluca brand in Kuwait with a potential to scale and grow the business further.
Lead and provide strategic direction for the brand's multiple elements – Retail, Food Service, Delivery and Catering operations.
Define the strategic business plan to deliver profitable sales growth.
Lead supply chain, category management, stock control & products selection with a view to optimise investments and costs.
Lead and direct the operations, marketing and visual operations.
Ensure consistency of product & service delivery to meet the high demands of local and international customers.
Guarantee retail proposition, processes and customer service to comply with fine, specialty food and retail standards.
Manage and grow relationships with the host brand.
The Requirements:
Blue Chip experience gained in premium food retail groups and/ or gourmet food services sector.
Successful track record of leading successful and profitable multi-site operations.
P&L accountability and fluency with financial reporting.
Support functions expertise - Category management, Customer service, Compliance, Quality Assurance.
Talent and succession planning, training and development skills.
Skills & Experience:
Merchandising, Demand planning and Supply Chain experience.
Can demonstrate skill in developing profitable sales at category level through effective range planning and order management.
Food and Beverage/Food Service comprises a major part of the business and experience of this area will be a prerequisite.
Strong negotiating skills, capable of managing multi disciplined supplier relationships.
Comfortable managing complexity.
