Job Description
We currently have an opportunity within our shared services department for an experienced Payroll Officer. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenging position in a very large multi-national company. The role will require the right candidate to have had at least three years experience within Payroll for a very large multi-national company handling at least 600 employees across multiple countries and currencies.
You will also have excellent communication skills, English language (written & verbal) and must have a very approachable personality. You will be working independantly but as part of a team and it is essential that you are able to monitor and be available for urgent payroll enquiries 24/7 if neccessary.
Responsibilities
Process multiple monthly payroll in a timely manner and maintain a reliable payroll record at all times
Working with complex payroll reports and administration
Issue Letters to Bank for account opening / Change / Loans
Issue Housing, education and annual ticket Allowance vouchers
Issue Letters to Consulates
Maintain accurate leave record in the system and proper filing of the signed forms
Process monthly salary and send pay slips to all concerned employees
Issue Salary Advance before the employee’s scheduled vacation
Keep Employee files complete with all documents
Provide necessary reports such as provisions and payroll registers to Finance department in a timely manner
Perform on-line headcount reporting and provide headcount reports according to requests
Provide necessary reports to other entities under Shared Services
Attend to internal and external auditors
Be involved in integrating current Payroll System with BridgeHR
Desired Skills & Experience
Essential
Comprehensive knowledge on Payroll and administration operation.
Experience handling a payroll for over 600 employees
Previous experience working with complex payroll reports and administration
Experience dealing with multiple countries and currencies
High level skills in Microsoft Excel
Fluent in oral and written English
HR/Administration/Finance degree or equivalent
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, knows how to prioritise work and assignment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Payroll expertise for minimum of 3 years
Conversant with PC and be able to work on MS word and power point
Organised and self directed
Beneficial
Experience using Prologic and/or HR Scan payroll software would be highly advantages
Good knowledge of HR principles
Valid UAE driving licence
Commitment to employer with a high level of integrity & credibility
Experience in Peoplesoft and SAP
Qualifications
University Degree or Diploma
Financial background an advantage
