Head of Employee Banking - Standard Chartered Bank - Bahrain


Job Description Job Description Lead Employee Banking programme for Consumer Banking by managing a set of Relationship Managers who will be engaged in managing relationships with chosen employers in Bahrain. The job entails maximizing CB business from individuals working in these companies through our Employee Banking package and maximising CB product sales. The Employee Banking team will act as the 'one stop contact' for the Bank for its engagement with employers - be it for new business or optimising our recovery opportunities. The job entails working with Product Managers & Sales Managers to design relevant products and ensure optimum coverage of direct sales force into employees of chosen companies. Key Roles & Responsibilities 1. Maximise NTB & ETB sales for all products 2. Signinificantly increase acquisition of 'new relationships' across all customers segments (Priority, Preferred & Mass). 3. Continuous scoping of business opportunities in chosen companies, monitoring of penetration of existing products and drive programmes to increase penetration of CB relationships within eligible target base within the company. 4. Work with Product Managers to design and deliver suitable products & solutions for Employee Banking programme. 5. Work with support functions to ensure delivery solutions are customised and optimised for Employee Banking programme. 6. People Management : Lead a set of Relationship Managers for performance, high Q12 scores 7. Risk Management : Work with Sales Governance to ensure operational risk is managed well. The job is directly responsible for managing operational risks within the employee banking programme. 8. One-Stop Shop : Employee Banking will work as a one-stop shop for employers and will be the primary Relationship point for all units within the Bank (including Collections/Recoveries/Operations). The incumbent will leverage the relationship with the employer to maximise opportunities for the Bank across the entire spectrum (NTB/ETB sales, Collections & Recovery etc) 9. If required, lead a team of Sales Representatives to maximise specific product sales 10. Responsible for overall efficacy and efficiency of Employee Banking programme and ensure it is a meaningful contributor to CB business in the country. Qualifications & Skills 1. Business Degree / Graduation 2.Relevant experience in Sales Management of Consumer Banking products 3. Experience of Relationship Management with corporates 4. Direct Sales experience
