We are currently seeking a Technical Sales Professional to be based in Dubai, UAE. This person will serve to increase our local presence and customer responsiveness and will support the company goals for growth in the area.
This individual will have the following responsibilities:

Major Account Management
 Maintain and grow business at existing customers
 Develop close working relationships within customer organizations across different functions and levels
 Coordinate the use of resources to support business development
 Price and contract negotiation
 Regular update of market intelligence and competitor information
 Communicate accurate forecasts to supply chain group

New Customer Development
 Map out the market with regard to potential business opportunities and target customers
 Implement actions to ensure full coverage of potential customers in the region
 Ensure intensive customer interaction to accelerate business growth
 Coordinate needed technical input to progress customer projects
 Ensure timely communication of new demand development to supply chain.

Distributor Collaboration
 Support annual distributor objectives
 Regularly monitor progress against objectives with the distributor
 Support distributors in major customer projects
Desired Skills & Experience

- Strongly prefer a university degree in food science and/or proven skills through work experience
- A minimum of 5 years of customer related job experience with minimum 2 years in a sales role
- Demonstrated knowledge of process technologies and formulations used in the food industry
- Ability to develop a solid relationships with customers and a establish a deep understanding of their needs by asking the right questions
- An understanding of value selling, how to leverage it during negotiations
- Computer literate
- Verbal and written fluency in English
