Billing and Finance Business Analyst Vodafone Qatar - Doha


Job Description

Role purpose: To ensure on-time and accurate post-paid and fixed line billing and lead end-to-end post-paid billing process.

Key accountabilities

Business Analysis
- Ensure that business requirements are captured and implemented for all changes (new products, system or network changes etc) with a Finance, Blling or Revenue impact.
- Review solution design documentation with Technology Demand and Marketing teams to ensure quality of billing solutions.
- Input and Definition of User Acceptance Test (UAT) scenarios.
- Validation of UAT results and obtain Head of Billing signoff before production deployment.
- Ensure billing operational readiness to support QA and RA for new product and services.
- Define the billing ‘launch readiness’ certification or checklist to ensure consistancy of delivery.

Billing Defect and Problem Management

- Tracking and reporting of all post deployment and production billing defects.
- Support the Customer Care with the initial (Tier 2) investigation and resolution of production billing issues (issues which impact multiple customer) including application of bulk credit adjustments and follow up with Technology.
- Track the adhereance to agreed SLAs with Technology for Tier 3 issues and escalate to Head of Billing as necessary.

Business & Billing Improvements

- Analyse common reasons for customer billing disputes and credit adjustments.
- Identify opportunities for cross-functional improvements (process, training, and system) to reduce billing issues / credit adjustments and work with the relevant stakeholders (Retail, Care, and Marketing) on the changes required.

Key outputs / metrics
Input into business requirements and solution design for new products.
Ensure Quality of billing solutions and billing operational readiness to support new products.
Support Customer Care with defect and problem management for post deployment billing issues.
Identify and reduce common types of billing issues and credit adjustments in collaboration with stakeholders.

Desired Skills & Experience

- Strong knowledge and experience in Telco billing or Business Analysis
- Strong analytical thinking.
- Attention to detail and organised.
- At least 8 years experience in Telco and Business Analysis.
- Comfortable working under pressure and multi-tasking.
- Must be available to work on weekends or after hours if required
