Job Description
- Oracle is currently seeking an experienced sales representative to grow, indirect sales through ISV’s & OEM’s and to grow sales of Proprietary Applications Hosting.
- Single contributor co-prime role
- You will work with all Oracle Technology products, DB, FMW, BI as well as MySQL.
- In addition you will get to sell Exadata and Exalogic through ISV and OEM partners under the new Exastack program
- Reporting to the Senior Sales Director
- Based in South Africa
RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Grow sales with given targets
- Developing, extending and maintaining relationships with the appropriate staff with customers and internally at Oracle
- Facilitating and nurturing Senior Management relationships to generate active sponsorship of Oracle
- Working with, and influencing the activities of Oracle Partners
- Maintaining an understanding of Oracle's strategic direction in the indirect ISV & OEM market.
- Maintaining an awareness of Oracle's current and future technology products and services
- Maintaining an understanding of competitive activity relevant to the indirect ISV & OEM market.
- Translate Oracle's Strategy and Marketing Messages to the market
- Produce an accurate forecast and pipeline through assigned tools and processes
- Use the Infomentis methodology for large deals
- Build and maintain effective relationships with relevant other Oracle LOBs and WW A&C SC and GAD resources.
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
“Must have”
Proven experience with international indirect software sales
Good communication and persuasive skills in English, both written and verbal
Sound technical background
High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment
Ability to work in a high pressure, fast moving and challenging environment
Professional with good organizational and planning skills
Third level education or equivalent experience
Team player
Self-motivated to continuously expand personal professional knowledge
