Senior Marketing Communications Manager Vodafone Qatar - Doha

Job Description

Role Purpose

To effectively manage and execute communication strategies for brand, propositions, events and sponsorship campaigns that drive brand equity and deliver key business results.

Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities

1.  Assist in the formulation of annual brand strategies & plans that deliver against business objectives
2.  Manage effective use of resources in order to deliver brand, proposition and segment led campaigns
3. Ensure seamless and successful implementation of campaigns across all channels, including Internal
4.  Deliver product/ proposition campaigns that help achieve our revenue targets
5.  Evolve and build the Vodafone Qatar Brand to be No1, through delivering on target comms, events and sponsorships
6.  Develop campaigns that are innovative and use media innovatively, efficiently and effectively
7. Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders including advertising and media agencies.

Financial (limits/mandates etc.)

•  Managing budgets in excess of QR 5M per campaign
• Deliver revenue figures per proposition/product

• Brand Plans
• Product/ Proposition and Segmented ATL, BTL and TTL Campaign’s
• Campaign communication (internally) & execution (externally)

Desired Skills & Experience

Technical / Professional Expertise

• Marketing/ Communication or Business degree
• Min 5 years experience in related field
• English and Arabic speaking (preferable)
• Strategically sound
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to manage budgets
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Seasoned Marketer with classical marketing experience
• Strong Marketing Communication skills, with experience in an advertising agency (preferable)
• Understand brand building and targeted/ segment comms
• Good business acumen
• Ability to execute - can effectively switch between strategic 'big picture' focus and detailed, operational focus
• Thrives in a fast paced and constantly changing environment, can handle high voilumes and tight deadlines but can also push back and challenge when it's apprproate/required.
