Job Description Maintenance Manager Full Time Regular Location: Arifjan, % Travel: 10 Relocation: No Requirements: The Logistics and Engineering Solutions Business Unit is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager for the ASP/TSA program in Kuwait. JOB DESCRIPTION: Exercises supervision over the equipment maintenance activities of the organization. Plans, organizes, and executes maintenance of wheeled vehicles and ground support equipment to achieve a 90% operational readiness rate. Diagnoses, tests, and analyzes malfunctions of organizational equipment. Directs the establishment and operation of organizational prescribed load lists for repair and maintenance related items. Establishes and enforces shop fire and safety programs. Manages unit calibration requirements and unit level oil analysis program. Prepares unit level readiness reports. Writes and updates internal SOPs for maintenance areas. Directs emergency recovery and repair for all unit equipment. Manages scheduling of periodic maintenance and services. Manages dispatch of passenger, cargo, and ground vehicles and equipment. Manages requisitioning and exchange of repair vehicles and disposal of POL products. Establishes internal procedures to receive, issue, and store tools, parts, publications, and POL products. Inspects maintenance activities and procedures for efficiency of operations in subordinate units. Establishes and maintains liaison with the appropriate supporting services. Coordinates with the supply section for the expeditious supply of parts and tools. Monitors fund expenditures for repair parts in coordination with the supply manager. Establishes, directs, and supervises procedures for turn-in, receipt, and exchange of repair parts and accessories. Ensures that environmental protection procedures, to include spill response plans, are established and followed in all maintenance activities. Ensures that adequate supplies of spill response materials are on hand. Ensures that safety programs are in place and adhered to by all personnel. Advises the program manager and operations manager on maintenance matters. Provides Senior Government and company officials with oral, written and graphic reports. Perform other duties as assigned. REQURED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree plus minimum of eight years experience maintenance management with Army experience. Education may be substituted with 20 years direct experience in Army Maintenance management. Army Maintenance Supervisor/Inspector Course a plus. Must obtain and maintain a current drivers license. Must be fluent in the English language. Must be able to pass a background National Agency Check prior to employment. Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
