Reporting to the Senior Director of GEMS Quality Assurance Division, the Director of Standards will be a core member of a department. The department is an internal, independent function that ensures a separation of role between direct managers on one side, the agencies of active, support-led and vision-led change, and quality assurance on the

Working with the Senior Director of Quality Assurance – the Director of Standards will;
- Continue the development and implementation of quality assurance systems, policies and processes that are of
the highest quality and that measure accurately the quality of GEMS Education to ensure that GEMS remains at the forefront of education delivery, outcomes and expertise.
- Ensure that GEMS quality assurance processes meet the needs of GEMS schools, partner schools and consultancy projects and they provide robust qualitative and quantitive evaluation procedures that evaluate impact and value for money.
Desired Skills & Experience
In order to be considered for this appointment you will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an educational leader developing a comprehensive understanding of whole school development and improvement,
preferably across a range of curricula.
In addition you will have extensive knowledge and practical experience of inspection procedures and practices alongside
