Recruitment Manager - UAE at M.H.Alshaya

Job Description

• Based in Dubai you will manage the UAE Recruitment Team
• Reports to Regional Resourcing Manager based in Kuwait
• Manage team to deliver all volume store recruitment including Store Management and junior head office recruitment within time scales and to budget and according to best practice
• Work closely with generalist Human Resources team to determine manpower requirements
• Work closely with the Government Relations Department to ensure that new joiners are able to join as fast as possible
• Work closely with Operations and Line Managers to ensure that we recruit according to the person specifications
Skills

• Manage team to recruit within time scales in particular for new store and warehouse openings across the UAE
• Ensure that Emirati national percentages are achieved and maintained and in particular attract more nationals to our Store positions
• Manage the team to fully utilise on line recruitment methodology in particular through our own company on line database
• Manage the team to design and implement effective recruitment campaigns
• Consistently utilise all channels of recruitment including full use of head hunting and referrals and to think of creative and new ways to attract and select
• Manage the team to select new joiners that meet the many different brand profiles in our company using the company competency framework
• Required to ensure that every vacancy follows 'Best Practice' process to ensure best quality talent is attracted and recruited within cost and all costs, sources of recruit and time to hire data is accurately captured for reporting.
• Develop team skills to ensure that all have a pro-active, positive, motivated 'recruiter' mentality.
• Recruitment or Human Resources management experience is essential and retail operations experience is an advantage.
• Good track record of managing a team to deliver effective and successful volume recruitment campaigns.
• Experience of competency based selection techniques & tools
• Experience of using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other on line recruitment methods
• Excellent communication skills in English is essential - Arabic is an advantage
• Experience of the UAE recruitment market is essential
