As the Business Analytics and Optimisation (BAO) Consultant and Strategist you will provide executive-level Business Analytics subject matter expertise,consultative deal solutioning and delivery for the GBS BAO team. You will be working with KPI’s, Performance improvement, measures and data warehousing. Responsibilities will include project management and delivery, articulating value propositions, and supporting the capture/closingof deals. Your primary territory will be the Middle East or Africa Growth Markets.

The successful professionals will have expertise in one of the following sectors– Banking or Finance - (Business Analytics, Business intelligence, ECM, SharedServices, Cloud Computing or ITS) – Telecommunications (Customer analytics) – PublicSector.

Consultants hired into IBM's GBS consulting practice will typically be located at an IBM office or client site in one of the following Middle East & Africa cities;
Abu Dhabi

Desired Skills & Experience

Required
* Minimum 8 years experience within a Consultancy firm (Accenture, Deloittes, PWC, KPMG etc)
* At least 3 years in any of the following: BusinessAnalytics, Business Intelligence, ECM, call Centre Customer Analytics
* At least 5 years experience in solution selling and delivery
* Bachelor's Degree
* Readiness to travel up to 75%; home on weekends
* English: Fluent
Preferred
• Master's Degree

Job Description

The IBM Storage Solution Sales is responsible for developing specific IBM Brand (Storage), or product specific solutions that address our client's business needs and deliver client value while supporting brand specific business strategies.

You will maintain strong relationships with executives and influencers on your accounts whilst thoroughly understanding the client's business, including their organization, financials, competitiveness in the market, and business issues. Creating solutions which are tailored to client's business needs you will also integrate the brand capabilities in a way that is valued by the customer and superior to the competition. You must thoroughly understand and apply sales strategies, methodologies and offerings for the specific assigned brand. Promoting specific brand capabilities to develop winning solutions which address the client's unique business needs, you will need to maintain an understanding of the client's industry and how the client's business fits within it. Working alongside the solution design and delivery team you will ensure that they have considered the appropriate methods and models in the customer solution.
