The Director Strategic Clients for Middle East and Asia will have revenue accountability for regional Sales, Account Management, Solution Partner teams and Customer Support Partner teams with a focus on delivering a sustainable growth and client satisfaction for key Airline customers.
The successful candidate will be an integral member of the Strategic Clients leadership team with a mandate to build and develop a high performance and sophisticated team within the Strategic Clients region of Sabre Airline Solutions. The Regional Director will be responsible for delivering the strategy of the business and continuing to focus on ultra-engagement and customer satisfaction.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Establish the strategy for ultra-engagement, growth and revenue generation for the clients in the sub-region which includes renewal, conversion and new sales
Ownership of the sub-region’s and broader Strategic Clients regional goals and objectives including measuring and monitoring performance and critically contributing to global strategic business goals
Responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with the sub-region’s customers as well as maintaining superior services measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS)
Actively assist individual airlines within the sub-region to improve their performance through the adoption of technologies, data and services from Sabre Airline Solutions through a process of scorecard performance measurement and continuous improvement
Actively look for opportunities to deploy business consulting services amongst the sub-region’s customers
Engage, on a very confidential basis and at the request of the customer, with analysis of Sabre Airline Solutions business potential with possible new airlines that the customer is considering as partners
Provide leadership to Sales, Account Management and Customer Support teams to achieve sub-region targets and deliver growth
Monitor implementation of projects and interact in a timely manner with Sabre Airline Solutions Delivery and Care organization as well as its Marketing and Solutions Management organization
Ensure the strategic direction of the Company and the sub-region is implemented to maximize profit
Ensure that each of the carriers in the sub-region has a valid and up to date Account Plan
Maintain market and competitor intelligence and develop proactive strategies to ensure Sabre Airline Solutions competitiveness
Inspire and provides leadership to the Account Directors and Customer Service Partners in the attainment of the sub-region’s objectives
Build a world-class team focused on excellence in execution and identify opportunities to “raise the bar” for individuals by instilling a market driven approach as an integral part of the company’s success
Collaborate across the organization and at all levels to ensure that the team functions at an optimum level
Provide a high-touch approach to customer management through a process of ultra-engagement
Desired Skills and Experience
REQUIREMENTS:
Undergraduate degree, MBA preferred
Significant experience in the technology sector (e.g. software, services), ideally related to airlines
Experience leading an international blue chip sales, account management or airline function
Experience identifying and pursuing growth opportunities
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities
Ability to influence across all levels in a fast paced matrix organization
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage multiple sales channels and strategic relationships
Strategic analysis skills
