Director Events Hyatt Hotels Abu Dhabi

Job Description
You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Park Hyatt's Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Director of Events is responsible to assist Director of Sales and Marketing to ensure the smooth and efficient of the Events department, covering both the catering sales as well as convention services functions of the hotel.
The successful candidate will be offered on "Single" status package.

Catering/Event Planning
Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
Minimum 2 years work experience as Senior Events Manager/Assistant Director of Events or 3 years as Senior Catering Manager or Convention Services Manager in large Banqueting facilities.
Middle East experience will be an asset
Good operational, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
