Job Description:
The National Bank of Abu Dhabi is looking for a Director - Trade/Cash under Global Transaction Banking within the Wholesale Banking Group who will directly influence the growth of NBAD's core cash & trade management business by providing: direct sales, direction and assistance including solution-led product positioning and bundling; subject matter expertise for client proposals and presentations, select client visits & presentations; complex deal pricing; pipeline development and analysis.
Tasks
Build and establish GTB’s in country business, comprising of Global Cash Management (cash management & liquidity management) and Global Trade Finance (trade services & structured trade finance), in close coordination with the GTB country head or GTB Abu Dhabi/Dubai/MNC heads.
Develop a client calling, business and product delivery plan in close alignment with the global, regional and in-country GTB strategy.
Lead strong client-centric state-of-the-art product pitches that generate substantial incremental income for the bank and that prove sustainable, “sticky” transaction banking business for years to come.
Provide best of class client presentations and response to RFP s from desired customers.
Ensure that the right clients are targeted by aligning the sales strategy to the overall global, regional and in-country GTB strategies.
Be instrumental to obtain and retain optimal client satisfaction and deliver strong customer services directly or via close cooperation with the client services teams.
Build strong stakeholder relationships, particularly with corporate and FI coverage groups, FMD, compliance and Legal.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master graduate in Business Administration or Finance
- Minimum of 8-10 years in solid sales functions
- Very strong experience in either trade finance or cash management
