Job Description:
• In coordination with the senior management, develop, implement, and achieve the annual sales budget for your designated territories.
• Report results to senior management on a monthly or as needed basis.
• Coordinate pricing and packaging strategies with senior management and finance group.
• Coordinate and monitor all payments, payment security and product shipment to clients on a daily basis.
• Oversee major deals in all media, developing and maintaining a close working relationship with television executives and clients where appropriate.
• In coordination with senior management, liaise closely with internal constituents (e.g., operations admin, sales support, business & legal affairs, finance and other related parties) on sales plans and programs. Resolve issues and ensure timely responses to customer needs.
• Conceive, develop and implement product-packaging strategies that maximize incremental revenue opportunities.
• Manage a large library (9,000 titles, 40,000 TV episodes).
• Monitor the marketplace for changes that affect sales activities, both directly and indirectly.
• Identify new opportunities for sales as a result of new entrants, emerging markets, changing technology and/or delivery systems. Develop sales strategies to quickly address and capitalize on these new opportunities.
• Manage and develop digital activities in the region
Customer Contact
• Inform customers of upcoming NBCU Corporate events, product programs and services.
• Follow up with clients on requests and co-ordinate solutions to contract/distribution issues where required.
• Create and maintain a strong working relationship with clients and other related parties.
• Meet clients in their local markets on a regular basis.
• Represent the company within the industry including participation in Company designed conventions, activities etc.
• Sustain and develop strong relationships within the Middle East markets
• Follow up with clients to maximize product placement, ratings and promotional opportunities.
• Seek out strategic local partnerships.
• Perform other related duties as requested by management
• Provide leadership and guidance to Sales Assistant as appropriate.

Person Specification
• Relevant Media Sales Experience 5+ years.
• Educated to degree level (Masters degree preferred)
• Strong experience within the Middle Eastern television and media business.
• Excellent business contacts and established network in the Middle East.
• Familiar with output deals/feature film packages.
• Familiar with barter and syndication deals in the region.
• Exceptional financial, analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills.
• Extensive knowledge and passion for Feature Films and Series content from the US and Europe.
• Outstanding negotiation, influencing and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent knowledge of data-processing tools including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
• Willingness to travel regularly in the Middle East, US and Europe
• Must work effectively under own initiative
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills required.
• Enthusiastic, proactive and creative team player.
• Alternatively those candidates with strong sales backgrounds in other businesses, strong television advertising experience or with strong financial backgrounds may also be considered.
• Complete fluency in English required (written and spoken). Fluency or very good knowledge in Arabic and/or Turkish preferred.
