Commercial Director - Food Division - M. H. Alshaya - Kuwait


Job description
To realise its highlyambitious and aggressive expansion plan the company is currently looking for adynamic, commercially focused and profit driven Commercial Director – Food Division

TheResponsibilities:

· To ensure commercial opportunities are identified andsupport consistent realisation across the division.



· To design and execute the business intelligence dataset(s) required to effectively benchmark and manage the diverse brands withinthe Food Division

· To develop and deploy a comprehensive customerinsights team and process to support the business intelligence suite(s).

· To develop a standard, insight led, approach tobusiness management across multiple brands.

· To design, implement and drive the business planningprocess for all the food brands of the Division

· To co-ordinate the divisional marketing activities toensure available synergies are realised and objectives are met.

· To drive forecast process to ensure full visibility onopportunities and risks ahead of time.

· To work with underperforming brand teams to developand implement business turnaround plans, that delivers the business plan.

· To liaise with key stakeholders and franchise businesspartner's

· To develop talent within their team and ensuresuccession planning



TheRequirements:

· Minimum of 10 years' experience within a Food relatedsector, 5 years of which would have been in leadership positions

· Full P&L accountability

· Preferably 3-5 years' experience in a senior marketingrole with experience of category management

· Strong commercial acumen developed in rapidly growingglobal organisations

· Proven ability to manage multifunctional projectsacross the food division

· Comprehensive "hands on" operational executionexperience

· Strong strategic ability – with the experience ofturning conceptual ideas into execution plans and ultimately embedding them inthe organisation

· Significant people skills and the ability to manage aculturally diverse workforce

· A self-driven, proactive and motivational leader whois able to influence up, down and across the management chain

· Effective stakeholder management skills

· Able to demonstrate clarity ofthinking in a complex environment, and translate solutions into a languageoperators understand.
