eGroup Director - Business Relations - M. H. Alshaya - Kuwait

Job Description

Based in the Head Office in Kuwait, the eGroup Director Business Relations is the key liaison between IT and the Alshaya Business Units. The Director Business Relations has significant knowledge in subject matters pertaining to both IT and the Business which includes Retail, FMCG and Dining.
The Director Business Relations is responsible to understand the business, assist in the prioritization of projects, ensure that projects align with the Business Solutions that best provide maximum return on investment, and direct Business Solutions in support of the overall Business Strategy. The Director Business Relations is also responsible for facilitating Process / Change Management.

The Role:
Building relationships with Internal IT teams and all the Alshaya Business Units
Identifying opportunities for Operational Efficiency
Directing projects towards desired Business Solution Strategies
Being involved in Solution delivery (project progress)
Process/Change Management
User acceptance testing of Current and New Systems and Processes
Involvement in Quality Assurance of Current and New Systems and Processes
Responsible for the development and deliverance of all the IT systems and process training

Desired Skills & Experience

Very strong retail knowledge & practice
Has the ability to liaise at various management levels within an organization
Ability to learn fast, take initiative, work independently and deliver on time
Good written and verbal English skills
Good communicator with a high level of empathy and patience
Good in MS Office skills with exposure to Merchandise and Retail systems
The Requirements:
Previous experience  working at a Senior Level in Retail preferably within the Merchandising environment
Has a good understanding of Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics and New Business Development
Degree / Post graduate qualification in Business Management
