Senior Business Development Account Manager - Aviat Networks - Doha


Job Description

This role will be responsible for defining, developing and implementing long term strategic goals to grow Aviat’s market share with Global Accounts in the Middle East. Specific responsibilities would include:

Building and managing key customer relationships
Identifying major business opportunities
Driving revenue and profitability
Working closely with Sales and Pre-Sales resources
Supporting regional line management in meeting financial and business objectives
Must have strong financial and corporate governance background, and a proven track record of delivering and exceeding targets and goals.


Key Measurements will include:

Meeting and/or exceeding revenue & profitability targets
Growing Aviat’s presence, increasing target market shares and customer base
Have annual account plan defined for the key accounts and reviewed on a regular basis
Desired Skills & Experience

This ideal candidate would be someone who would have the following attributes:

A technical education with a business orientation
5-8 years in sales management in the Telecommunications market
A proven track record in the industry
Has extensive relationships with senior executives in the customer base
Results oriented, possess excellent interpersonal, communication and management skills
Must be a self starter and be able to take ownership of problems and drive them to resolution in a timely manner.
