Director - Legal & Regulatory - VIVA Bahrain - Manama, Bahrain

Job Description Lead, oversee and strengthen the Legal & Regulatory Department in VIVA through development and management of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks, advice, direction and strategy.   Ensure the tracking of overall departmental performance against specified KPIs and report this information on a regular basis to Chief Corporate Affairs Officer.   Develop required reports and filing to authority to ensure compliance with license obligations.   Review commercial launch offers and develop required regulatory costing models to ensure that pricing is in line with regulation and competition guidelines.   Act as the legal and regulatory adviser for all VIVA organisational units and support the business objectives directly through expert advice and leadership of all legal and regulatory activities.   Plan, establish and maintain relationships with external entities (partners, stakeholders, regulators and other relevant governmental institutions) to ensure an effective regulatory environment for the business. Desired Skills & Experience Master’s degree from a recognised university. 8-10 years of legal and regulatory experience at senior level positions within the telecommunications industry.
