Job Description

Role Synopsis

· The Regional Materials Manager will work along side the Assembly, Maintenance, and Overhaul (AMO) Regional Hub Directors to plan, direct, organize, and control the movement of materials between operations and AMO throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

· Coordinates with all region locations, local material managers, and headquarters personnel to monitor and recommend actions for regional inventory management, demand planning, and order process management to support short term and long term revenue and marketing plans of the Region.
· Coordinates inventory demand among the region and works with the regional hub to support customer service levels.
· Responsible for establishing an effective infrastructure, along with implementing the required processes and policies necessary to supply assets and inventory needs to operations with minimal lead time and in a cost effective manner.
· Develops strategy and direction for group to maintain on-time product and service deliveries to support changing business activity, including working to identify opportunities to continuously improve the supply base.

· Generates, monitors and improves KPI ‘s related to service delivery from the Hub and works with regional locations to rationalise inventory holding whilst maintaining target fill rates.

Basic Qualifications

· Ability to formulate and execute new strategies
· Excellent organizational, negotiating and influencing skills.
· Strong verbal, written and presentation skills as well as solid management performance.
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, Master’s degree preferred.
· 10+ years experience in Materials Management and/or Supply Chain Management
· APICS certification
