UAE Federal Government ATS at Microsoft


JOB Overview:


To work with Account Managers and Sales Teams assigned to Federal Government Account Team Unit as the technical expert for the development of customer solutions and proposals.

Acts as technical resource for broad and complex issues within the Federal Government segment providing technical or process planning and guidance to customers, driving their adoption of the right Microsoft Technologies and the development of winning solutions or services.

Summary:
Its in-depth knowledge of customers' IT environments.
Its focus on optimizing Microsoft Core Infrastructure technologies and articulating the Security value of a Microsoft stack.
Its ability to successfully articulate and communicate the IT Infrastructure for a People-Ready Business value proposition.
Its insights into customers' IT strategies, IT level business drivers and Infrastructure Optimization maturity stages.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Understand complex customer requirements and business goals and lead the development of strategies/plans to achieve Microsoft and customer objectives
Contribute to deliverable development and account strategy
Develop and lead local Technical Readiness and Sales Readiness Initiatives
Develop strategy and objectives and understands competitor strategies
Identify opportunities and drives Pilots/Proof of Concepts, LOB Design Wins and/or customer touches in visible, high-risk, and competitive situations
Lead IO profiling, account technology plans and identify solution opportunities
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Microsoft product development teams, customer technical staff, Field Sales, field technical communities and partners to close sales opportunities
Articulate scenario strategies with an understanding of both the customer's business and competitive landscape.
Deliver highly articulate and effective strategic presentations to audiences of all sizes - including the largest and most technically and competitively challenging.
Drive joint account planning with strategic partners
Develop and maintain strong relationships with the account's decision makers
Accountable for the attainment of product and services revenue goals within assigned accounts
Developing a healthy IT Infrastructure and Client pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Creating and maintaining IT Profiles on customers, including IO Discovery data for all 3 IO Models and IT level business drivers.
Identifying the gaps in IO, Deployment and Security within customer accounts and contributing to opportunity generation plans to address the gaps.
Defining IT Infrastructure and Client solutions that address customer pains and/or opportunities.
Ensuring handoffs to, and engagements with, the appropriate resources (within the Account Team Unit or Solution Team Unit, to Partners and/or Services) at the appropriate phase of the MSSP.
Delivering presentations, briefings or technology reviews that reinforce the IT Infrastructure for a People-Ready Business value propositions.
Ensuring that customers are aware of the Microsoft Enterprise Product Roadmap and the Security benefits of a Microsoft-centric technology stack.
Contributing to the recruitment, engagement and readiness of Partners who can help the ATS role scale capacity.

REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in this role you will need:

8+ Years experience in a technical consulting or pre-sales role.
Demonstrable ability to consult, design and articulate winning solutions to clients and team members
Understanding of Microsoft's Technical Vision, how to solve business problems with working knowledge of the Microsoft .NET Systems Architecture, Desktop Environment, and Solution Offerings, deeper Information Worker solutions knowledge is a plus.
Strong presentation and communication skills
Understanding of Business Decision Sales Cycles and the sales process
Knowledge of the local IT sector, customer base, key players, competitors and trends
