Job Description

• Reviews O&M Manuals and new OEM recommendations. Establishes maintenance procedures;
• Creates the overall maintenance schedule and follow-up application. Determines and schedules the manpower requirements for each maintenance activity. Organizes overhauls work, staffing, specialist personnel, parts & tooling requirements;
• Supervises, directs and coordinates the execution of planned maintenance. Ensures proper organization of site activities in order to meet quality and guaranteed duration target;
• Prepares maintenance reports including appropriate recommendations;
• Performs work in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, in accordance with LTSA Contracts and within the approved budgetary lines;
• Follows up proper execution of the LTSA and brings in solutions, in coordination with BEI’s structure (Karhabel) to any argument or problem that may arise;
• Ensures that the necessary permits and consents are obtained and maintained according to the plant WP Procedure;
• Ensures that SEI’s EHS Policies are implemented in the company and promotes a safe working environment;
• Responsible for all minor and major inspections for the serviced units;
• Responsible for all emergency repairs and LTSA warranties clearance;
• Responsible for the technical and commercial application of the existing contracts;
• Is the single point of contact for all contractors, clients and other collaborators during a specific project;
• Coordinates and gives initial approval for all modifications to an existing project, procedure, scope or schedule;
• Coordinates all on site activities between different contractors, STOMO personnel, auxiliary manpower and OEM’s;
• Keeps an overview of collaboration and frame contracts, approaches different experts, approves new technical issues;
• Assists on site with specialised maintenance advice and services;
• Ensures the proper usage of special tools, hand tools and all other specialised tools during maintenance activities;
• Responsible for the quality inspection of GT spare parts (new and refurbished) and consumables once they have been received by stores.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or;
• 15 Years’ Experience in Mechanical Engineering.
• Outages management experience;
• Technical Power Plant experience;
• Maintenance experience in Siemens 94.2 gas turbines;
• General maintenance experience;
• GT Maintenance experience
• Communication: English is essential: excellent communication skills required both written and verbal;
• Flexibility: must be willing to travel, work long hours, weekends and be “on call” as and when required (periodically);
• Computer literate;
• Arabic is an advantage;
• Strong technical skills and the ability to organize and conduct a Gas Turbine Inspection;
• Strong organizational skills;
• Must be able to work in a broad cultural spectrum.

Job Description Responsibilities and duties:     Daily administrative management of the department staff (all QA/QC Engineers and Inspectors). The Day to Day monitoring and maintenance of Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000. Provide inputs, estimates for QA/QC equipment and facilities, man-hour estimates and staffing recommendations, as appropriate for pre-qualification and tender purpose. Interact with the project sites and departments in Quality requirements and it conformance.  Implement the internal audit process for the QMS as planned by QHSE department.  Ensure that the company QHSE system is regularly reviewed for its continuing effectiveness and that adherence to procedures is assessed by means of planned and independent internal audits. Frequent communication with the certification and governmental bodies regarding the QMS requirements. Review and monitor the KPI established for every activity. Report to the area management and corporate QHSE manager the status of the QMS management system. Provide advice, guidance and training on QMS matters within the company and where appropriate within individual projects. Coordinate with the consultants employed by DSI for any of the QMS concerns. Attend training and seminars related to QMS. QMS visits to other similar size companies or from same aiming to benchmark our QHSE Management System. Committed to DSI HSE requirements and all applicable legislations and contractual requirements affecting the HSE activities at project site and administrative offices.
