Director Key Account Emirates Airline Oracle Dubai

Job Description
Responsible for providing leadership to the sales and account management processes and growing Oracle’s revenues associated with the full breadth of Oracle products/ solutions for an assigned Key Account. The job represents a balanced customer relationship management effort involving sales and account management skills, product knowledge/problem-solving/solution skills, and direction of all other and necessary Oracle specialized resources assigned to the Key Account.
Owns overall Oracle leadership across all products, services and support to an Oracle Key Account (one of Oracle’s 150 to 200 top revenue producing and market leading accounts on a world-wide basis). Is the day to day senior Oracle executive business resource assigned to the Key Account. Is chartered to facilitate and own the overall account and opportunity planning process and its execution for the Key Account. Is also responsible for the Oracle communication inside our global organization and across all organizations and lines of business withing the Key Account. The key objectives of the Strategic Account Rep are to develop deep customer knowledge and influence through forging executive relationships across all Oracle lines of business, increasing Oracle’s reputation as a proven partner, increasing customer satisfaction and Oracle revenues and footprint within the Key Account

Job Description

Job Purpose
Implementation of corporate learning and development solutions for functional areas to support business goals.
Ensure all learning solutions are delivered as per the programme design and any changes required are documented and discussed with line manager and incorporated.

Job Outline
1. Learning Solutions and Organisational Development 
Adhering to the ADDIE cycle of training and development, diagnose learning and performance gaps, recommend, design, develop and deliver innovative solutions and evaluate business impact, consistently achieving excellent customer satisfaction at all levels and meeting agreed KPIs. 
2. Programme Ownership 
Ensure that changes to the business environment are analysed and recorded and training programme content updated so as to ensure learning solutions remain current and valid. 
3. Quality Management 
Demonstrate adherence to the Quality and Standards Framework and action improvements to ensure interventions are current, relevant, accurate, and fit for purpose. 
4. People Management and Development 
Take ownership of agreed performance objectives, competencies and development plans; actively pursue self-directed learning in order to remain current and in line with industry best practice. 
5. Vision, Mission and Values 
Implement plans in alignment with the departmental mission, values, goals and policies; demonstrate behaviours to represent and promote these and act as a champion in change management. 
6. Finance: Cost Management and Revenue Generation 
Embrace a culture of cost efficiency by adhering to the agreed budget and identifying and implementing cost-effective work practices. Provide professional expertise and products in line with the Corporate Learning and Development revenue generation strategy. 
7. Business Relationship Management 
Establish and maintain effective on-going relationships with key contacts in business units, joint ventures and external entities where applicable. Project a professional image and demonstrate high calibre of knowledge, skills and attitude in order to strengthen and sustain effective relationships. 
8. Project Management 
Ensure that assigned L&D projects are delivered on time, within budget, in adherence with L&D quality standards and meet customer expectations. This includes preparing project plans, tracking key milestones, monitoring efforts on a regular basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality reviews and escalating functional, quality and timeline issues appropriately and adjusting plans and/or resources. The job holder will coordinate communication with all key stakeholders and also ensure that the projects are aligned with the overall programme portfolio managed by the respective L&D Manager. 
9. Business Intelligence 
Develop expertise in the respective area of specilaisation and through on-job observations and attachments feed-in relevant business data and changes in business environments to the L&D Manager, so as to influence L&D plans and support analysis of business impact for better alignment of L&D interventions.

Desired Skills & Experience

Qualifications 
Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in one of the following areas:
Aviation
Education/Training
Business or HRD related field
Professional qualifications in HR (e.g. CIPD/City and Guilds), training, psychology or organisational development would be an added advantage.

Specialization in one of the following areas is preferred
Airline or Groundhandling with hands on experience in flight handling, check in, boarding, Control and mis-handled baggage services functions.

Experience 
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Airline or Ground Handling with hands-on experience in Flight Handling, Check In, Boarding, Flight Control and Mishandled Baggage Services functions.
Hands-on experience in using departure control system, reservation system and World Tracer system. Knowledge of MACS, GUI or ATRAXIS and MARS will be an advantage.
Experience in developing and delivering training to staff who perform Flight Handling, Check In, Boarding, Control or Baggage Services functions as per international L&D standards.
Strong interpersonal skills and a cultural sensitivity to the local community would be critical for this role, together with the ability to influence diverse groups of people through excellent communication and presentation techniques.
Experience of working in an environment aligned to international audit and regulatory requirements relevant to the area of specialisation.
Ability to gather and analyse data, draw meaningful conclusions and write comprehensive reports on business situations and the performance of individuals.
Demonstrate good project management knowledge use of project management and MS Office products.
Demonstrated tolerance for ambiguity in a dynamic business environment, where priorities may change due to new initiatives and where a flexible, adaptable and responsive approach is critical to success.
Thorough practical working knowledge of learning and development processes and methodologies and ability to design and develop innovative and effective learning solutions.

Public Relations Manager at Emirates Airline & Group


Job Description

The Position: Plan, manage and implement a fully integrated Public Relations (PR) programme for Emirates Group (EK Group) companies by partnering with the Corporate Communications team of Shared Services and Specialist teams to meet the business objectives and goals through the delivery of innovative, efficient and cost effective PR solutions.
The primary focus of this role is to protect and enhance the reputation of the EK Group through interactions with external media and organizations to gain positive publicity in all relevant media channels.

Job Outline:

Plan, manage, and implement a proactive PR strategy that reinforces corporate messages, protects the company reputation and helps achieve key business objectives. This will involve creating a formal corporate reputation management programme for assigned regional areas or EK Group brands, as part of global framework.
Respond to and relay corporate messaging to media and external organizations in a timely manner. This will involve writing of effective news releases and organising editorial coverage to ensure information about the new developments and achievements of the Emirates Group receive good coverage in the targeted media worldwide.
Develop, influence and maintain relationships with key media, analysts, industry and government stakeholders to ensure key messages are delivered as designed and planned. Work collaboratively with all other Corporate Communications functions within the regional team to achieve this.
Manage assignments within scope/time/quality and cost, ensuring speed to market and effective integration with marcomms plans. Prepare and manage journalist familiarization visits, presenting a quality international airline and company so that resulting news features will reflect this experience and maximise return on investment.
Ensure PR results are planned, researched and measured through scheduled reporting, both for Manager PR and Account Manager. Develop and compile PR research intelligence for assigned region or EK Group brand including trend indexes, ensure this is updated regularly. Includes benchmarking best practice and ensuring that these are incorporated into the practices, policies and approaches for the team.
In conjunction with the Specialists team (Managers Advertising, PR, Sponsorship) develop and maintain the regional crisis communications plan in collaboration with the EK crisis response team and global PR team, ensuring plan and staff training are kept up-to-date; manage an ongoing speakers bureau program for EK executives; ensure social media is effectively utilized and reflected in regional PR plans and campaigns
Manage contractual relationships (by monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback) with suppliers internally and externally and to cultivate relationships with business units and key stakeholders.
Provide advocacy and education about PR and best practice among regional/brand Corporate Communications team, and in particular with Account Manager to ensure consistency and alignment to overall corporate communications strategy.
Drive the need to use management information systems (Empower, Media Plan System, Event Management System) to project manage, track, share and archive all work as needed.
Manage and coach direct reports, guiding them to improved performance through continuous training and development. To deal with staff issues as they arise offering solutions and support. To ensure that staff undertakes training as identified in their personal and professional development plans.

Skills

Experience and Qualifications:

Degree in Journalism or Mass Communications
Post-graduate qualification in PR (preferred) or professional accreditation in public relations

8 + years of relevant communications experience in an international PR agency or in an in-house communications capacity

Excellent knowledge of the internet and understanding of new digital media is also necessary as the company is moving aggressively into this medium.
