Director Enrolment Management Abu Dhabi University Abu Dhabi

Job Description
The purpose of this role is to lead the strategic planning and development of enrolment management planning at Abu Dhabi University. The primary purpose of this role is the development of an overarching recruitment & enrolment plan to attract students to the university, direct and oversee recruitment, admissions, financial aid, contact centre; operational and strategic leadership. Ensure the implementation of ADU policies and procedures within the frame of the CAA Standards and other accrediting bodies.

Strategic Planning

Lead the strategic planning and development of enrolment management planning

Develops annual department Strategic Plans for Admissions/Recruitment, Financial Aid & Contact Centre in coordination with department managers and ensures that, goals and assigned targets are met.

Chairs the Enrollment Management Committee in the annual development, implementation, and evaluation of strategic objectives. Oversee the implementation of the Enrolment Management plans.

To develop, execute, and assess department policies, procedures and data processing systems of the Recruitment, Admissions, Financial Aid and Call Centre Office

Plans the manpower & Generic resources for the department

Prepares and analyzes comprehensive statistical reports on student recruitment and admissions activities.

Keeps the Provost advised of all significant current problems or conditions affecting the Enrollment Management and makes appropriate recommendations for correction or improvement.

Provides input to the Provost that will expand their understanding of trends in higher education and financial aid in planning for the future development of the University.

Attends conventions, meetings, and conferences as necessary to maintain knowledge of existing and new admissions and recruiting policies, practices, and procedures.

Resource Management

In coordination with department managers to develop promotional literature and display materials.

Coordinates cross-functionally to improve the overall student experience at all touch points within the departments

Manages the recruitment process for international students and ensures accurate follow ups are being conducted In coordination with department manager

Plans for the internal as well as external training for the staff In coordination with department manager

Manages the on/off boarding, professional development, employee relations for all employees under the unit in coordination with the department manager as required.

Student Admissions & Recruitment

Participates in ADU’s events in addition to events related to student recruitment and admission.

Monitors and ensures the accuracy of student admission status according to ADU policies, CAA standards and other accrediting bodies.

Reviews and evaluates student recruitment and admission services for effectiveness and efficiency and introduce changes to improve delivery.

Budget Planning & Audit

Oversees and is responsible for development of the Admissions/Recruitment, Financial Aid and Call Centre department budget, including accurate forecasting of needs.

Participates in the development, review, and analysis of annual operating budgets as it relates to campus-level admissions goals

Desired Skills and Experience
Master degree with 10 years in admissions and student recruitment in a senior position
English is a must
Arabic is preferred.
